Sinhala & Hindu New Year

Sri lankas celebreate this great national festival as the sun god's transition from pieces to aries takes place. That is the dawn of a traditional new year in our country . the environment is also getting ready. As the flowers bloom the singing of koha could be heard . Sounds of raban herald the beginning of another new year . it is celebrated on the 13th &14 of april.😇😇

When the harvest is reaped, the famer wants to show his gratitude to the nature for helping him in his cultivation. people do their daily work according to auspicious times. Lighting of the hearth, cooking milk rice ,partaking of the first meat, oil anointing , bathing visiting relations, leaving for work are some of the things done at auspicious time. sinhala and hindu new year has a cultural significance, young people in villages organize coconut scraping contests, beauty contests, traditional games, bicycle races etc...... To share this happiness. House wives distribute sweet meats among the neghbours. worshiping elders giving a sheaf of betel bings out the best in this festival. people wear new clothes according to the auspicious colours .sinhala and hindu new year is celebrated for more than one week . It is a festival of unity and good will.

The Most Important Day Of My Life 😍😍

It was septhember 17th . The day I came out as a drummer. That day I performed for the first time for a dance g long with other senior instrumentalists. I think it was a good opportunity in my life as a dancer.💖💖 Two of my friends also presented their talents with me that day . first we present the " Magul Bera ". Mr. Ravi Bandu vidyapathi, a senior traditional drummer , came as thrchife guest of our event that day. we have trained a lot for this.😢 & learned a lot about it.😁😍 My two beloved teachers who helped me a lot in this work were Ms. Prasangika Rasanji & Mr. Dilhan Gunawardena. 🙏🙏 They both worked hard to bring me here . 💗💗 so.. I think that being tutored by both of their teachers is a special privilege in my life. 😍 I think it was a very happy day for both my parents. Those two are my strength. they are my strength , every things ,always behind me. I love them 😍💕 i have no wards what they do for me. 💕

One Day Short Trip 🌊🏖️😍

We left for the trip at 8 a m in the morning. we participated in this journey with our dance class friends. we first went to Dehivala Zoo . A little information about Dehivala zoo 👇 National Zoological Gardens of Sri lanka Dehivala zoo is founded in 1936. it is 10.1 ha spread over an area. there are 3000 animals and 350 animals species animals here. It is home to various birds , mammals, reptiles, fish and amphibians. About 1.5 million people visit the zoo every year. Dehiwala zoo is a member of world Association of zoos and aquariums. from here we started visiting the zoo. we sow different types of fish, poisonous animals and different birds. we were able to see special species of animals unique to our country. i was very excited to see the baby tigers but 😌 it was a very rainy day so they couldn't take care of it. ...

My First Choreography

The sacrificial dance of the Dhamma school's devotional song performance was created by me.😇 it was my first choreography experience .I enjoyed it very much. two children participated for this item. They also helped me a lot to succss in this work. The ceremony started around 3.30 p.m that evening. After that , I coached the children to perform dances . I hope they presented it well too. mmmm😊 I think I have created a good choreography with what l have done soo far. My dancing item received a lot of good responses. All the children, teachers and adults responded well. therefor, i am soo..... happy 💪😁 I think it was a great opportunity in my life to perform a choreography as a dancer .Thorough this opportunity, we can get a better understanding of our mistakes and where we need to improve. I wish I had opportunities like this in the future.
