My favorite Dance Tradition

  An indian dance tradition , kathak dance tradition is a dance tradition with a Northern indian influence. This dance style means khalakar or story teller. Kathak is indigenous to northern india and developed under the influence of both hindu and muslim cultures. kathak is characterized by intricate foot work and precise rhythmic patterns that the dancer articulates by controlling about 100 ankle bells. It takes its movements from life,stylizes them, and add a the complex rhythmic patterns .


The genre developed during the Bhakthi movement, the trend of theistic devotion which evoved in medieval hindusm. The dance parts are built on the music created based on the rhythms of sum guna , deguna, thunguna . The main instrument used here  in pakwaja. In addiction, the tabla uses instrumental instruments such as sarangi and violin. Kathak dance tradition is comprised of various dances. they are ahmad,salam,paran,tukada,chakradhar,palta,gath, nikas,tumri,tarana. Kathak is a very beautiful dance tradition and is a popular dance from among many people.

One Day Short Trip 🌊🏖️😍

We left for the trip at 8 a m in the morning. we participated in this journey with our dance class friends. we first went to Dehivala Zoo .       A little information about Dehivala zoo  👇                       National Zoological Gardens of Sri lanka Dehivala zoo is founded in 1936. it is 10.1 ha spread over an area. there are 3000 animals and 350 animals species animals here. It is home to various birds , mammals, reptiles, fish and amphibians. About 1.5 million people visit the zoo every year. Dehiwala zoo is a member of  world Association of zoos and  aquariums.          from here we started visiting the zoo. we sow different types of fish, poisonous animals and different birds. we were able to see special species of animals unique to our country. i was very excited to see the baby tigers but 😌  it was a very rainy day so they couldn't take care of it. ...

Peradeniya Botanical Gardens

 The most enchanting place with natural beauty is undoubtedly the peradeniya botanical gardens. It certainly brings a heavenly feeling when one is inside this famous place. This botanical garden is 59 hectares in extent. It is a paradise of large collection of local foreign plans, The popularity of the garden is spread even to foreign countries, It has become a great tourist attraction. Along colombo kandy  road after passing peradeniya and the bring a few yards from the gahala junction , this paradise of glowers could be found. It is situated near the longest river in sri lanka , mahaweli. there is a beautiful collection of plam trees in the gardens. Ebony , Cycad , Bamboo Ficus, Cactus, Orchids are found here there is a medicinal garden too. peradeniya gardens is a great national asset which should be protected.
